This course equips peer recovery coaches with the tools and confidence to support individuals in building meaningful pathways to employment. Grounded in a recovery-centered approach, participants will learn how to translate lived experience into job readiness skills, while promoting self-determination, advocacy, and long-term success.
Topics include interview preparation, resume development, workplace communication, and navigating common employment barriers such as stigma, gaps in work history, and disclosure decisions. The course also emphasizes ethical responsibility, professional boundaries, and strategies for supporting clients through workplace challenges.
By the end of this training, participants will be able to guide others in developing confidence, identifying transferable skills, and securing employment that aligns with their recovery and personal goals.
